How to make a purchase
- Select the items
- Add them to the bag
- Select the type of delivery
- Indicate the address and any other required information
- Make the payment
After placing the order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Methods of payment
You can use the following payment cards: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard or Maestro.
Types of delivery
The type of delivery has to be selected when making the purchase:
- at the Cashier's Office of Latvijas Banka, Bezdelīgu iela 3 in Riga;
- by courier to the indicated address.
Delivery costs
The purchase can be picked up free of charge at the Cashier's Office of Latvijas Banka. When choosing a courier delivery, the service fee will be calculated upon the submission of the delivery details, depending on the total weight of the delivery and the specified delivery address.
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Time of delivery
At a Cashier's Office of Latvijas Banka – as of the 3rd (third) working day after placing the order. The purchase must be claimed within 20 (twenty) working days of receiving the confirmation. See the working hours of the Cashier's Offices here.
The purchase will be delivered to the indicated address within 8 (eight) working days as of the day of placing the order. If the delivery adress is abroad – within 10 (ten) working days from the date of placing the order.
Purchase limit
The limit per purchase transaction on Latvijas Banka's online sales platform www.e-monetas.lv is set at EUR 1 000 (VAT and delivery costs included).
Application of quantity discount
The quantity discount will be automatically applied to purchases of 10 (ten) or more items. You will see the reference to it in your bag.
Withdrawal rights
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 (fourteen) days as of the day of delivery by informing the seller to that effect. In the event of withdrawal, you have the obligation to return all items purchased under the respective purchase contract to the seller. The returning costs are covered by the buyer.
